llatest ventures and adventures

as you may or may not know I have been an affiliate
of many products.

My latest venture and I am going to share it with you here,

is hempcrete and other hemp products.

while we cannot simply paint our way through life, well,
eh, yes we can, some of us, but sometimes inspiration needs
a little boost of paint can income. We can all find that as an
affiliate of a great product!

Great products like good high quality paints, or hemp products.

Hemp Products? You don't say.... well yes I do say! It is the thing of the
future and could i have afforded it several years ago while remodeling,
I would have then rebuilt walls using hempcrete which is mold AND fireproof
like magic. Sadly i know some relatives who were victims of losing their home
to the east coast big flooding storms  last year. they are still living in
a camper til
their house is rebuilt basically. they lost most everything and
 insurance did not cover it
and fema found they had insurance, so they covered nothing as well.
 left them high and dry to tear out all their old flooded drywall and things'
to avoid mold poisoning. Imagine, if they had built with hempcrete in the first
place.

WHich is only one reason besides the growing popularity of it all, that I chose to
become a hemp affiliate of many products. in my spare time of course as family comes first always,
and my sanity. Being an affiliate makes that much easier as I can find great products for great prices
and even maybe just maybe see an affiliate check occasionally. You will thank me if you sign up and do
the same. Somewhere down the road in the future maybe, success does not always happen over night...
Sometimes, maybe. There is always that chance. ANything is possible!

Pickle Soup or Zupa Ogorkowa (google translate to learn how to say that ;) )

With the holidays coming up, Easter and such I thought back to the beautiful Easter eggs painted for Polish holidays. What talent!

just found this website with pickle soup. or in polish zupa ogorkowa. What does that have to do with Easter eggs? Nothing, i got side tracked thinking about making soup...

 Being part polish and hungarian I just decided to start researching that portion of my family tree a bit more. The best part of research is holiday customs, and great new recipes that are pretty affordable to create on a tight budget. they say kids love it. cannot wait to try it. seems fairly inexpensive to make and would go great with cheese biscuits fresh from the oven. 

So glad to have found so many recipes and webpages with great things to try! not sure about testing my skills painting detailed easter eggs yet though...that may have to wait just a little bit longer..

junk-n-trunk show

this saturday october 6th if you are looking for something fun to do why not take a scenic drive to savanna, illinois for the junk-n-trunk craft vendor and flea market fair
should be loads of fun for the whole family on a beautiful fall day! i baked lots of cookies to sell and will have some of my coolest painted chairs, and vintage/antique items for sale. my daughter whipped up some cute as ever hair clips with the most adorable ribbons and designs. little Evelyn Liliana loved a couple of them so much she ran off yelling mine! and hid them from her mommy before they could be packed up for the show! she picked her faves which was all of them but only got away with a couple. not to worry there are plenty for everyone.

st patricks day cupcakes

there are many favorite recipes that i enjoy. there is never enough time to cook when i have so many other interests in life! so usually i just throw a few things together and eat on the run. That's an aries for you!

pinterest seems to be the hottest new spot to find super delicious recipes and betty crocker...

i have a couple photos of food here made quick and easily as snacks however like i said above the food recipes are on pinterest. i would like to add some of my favorites here when i can.

i love baking. it doesnt always turn out pretty but does taste pretty good. usually... ;). with a little more ummmm ok possibly a lot more practice i hope to have some photo worthy posting cupcakes

to show off here in the near future!!

even found some St. Patty's day decor to top my next big batch of cupcakes with. so in the next week is cupcake pictures.

now that i have mentioned it, well let's just hope for no major disasters, and that they turn out edible and of course look good enough to showcase!

you know that old saying luck o the irish be with you? well i am part irish and my luck held out today. me and my sweet littl e 2 year old grand daughter Evelyn Liliana made chocolate cake. at first she ran off with the bag of cake mix and i followed her. i pictured her ripping open the powder mix all through the hallway and spending the day cleaning up the wood floor but alas! that did not happen.

we were in luck and continued making our cake.

(she helped by watching fascinated to see how we turned stuff into chocolate cake -she really wanted to hold the eggs when we started but i decided more against that than for it-;))

all said and done we were both pretty happy with the results of our hard work.

As you all may know I have not worked a real job in over a year and a half. how you may ask? through investments, creativity and my own home based businesses. I am ready to share some opportunities with friends and family, colleagues to help you find ways to earn money buying things like groceries and items you already buy for you family and home. it has been awesome fun. new opportunities arise when you follow your dreams!

there are several things as i follow my dreams that are beginning to take shape,
planning a neighborhood green space to improve an empty city lot in my neighborhood,
 publishing an inspirational book of with my photography work, painting furniture,
and seeing my DonatePaint project come to life.
 There are many other things i am also working on like the women painting chairs club which helps bring people together to meet new friends and accomplish any project they may have
the first project will be helping pack a home for a new friend 
who is moving and this summer
hopefully even painting chairs etc... ;)
these are the main ones for now.

when we believe in ourselves and things we like to do
and work towards our goals
things just seem to fall into place.

it is time to evaluate your friends family and life very closely when you find yourself without a job.
what is most important to you?
have your friends and family been there for you and offered any sort of help or have they abandoned you?
technically there is a book for that called toxic parents. this also works with friends. weed out the bad ones who are not there for you
make room for the ones who are.
